The Moon is in Gemini right now. She next enters Sagittarius on October 14 at 12:59 AM and leaves for Capricorn on October 16 at 12:56 PM.
The Moon in Sagittarius has already packed and is looking at the far hill.
The Moon is in Sagittarius from October 14 at 12:59 AM until October 16 at 12:56 PM, when she enters Capricorn. Sagittarius is mutable fire, ruled by Jupiter, and the Moon here lifts her eyes from the near to the far. Astrologers read these days as a season of horizon: the appetite for travel and meaning and the larger story, the restlessness that comes when the room feels small, and the laugh that opens the window. It is the Moon for the long walk and the big question, for teaching and for faith, and the tradition notes that it is a generous Moon and an inaccurate one, prone to promising more than the week can hold.
