The nodes are not on this axis now. They were last here from April 28, 2017 to November 16, 2018 and return on December 9, 2035.
North in Leo, South in Aquarius: learning to step into the light, after a long season at the edge of the crowd.
With the North Node in Leo and the South in Aquarius, astrologers read the season as a turning from the many toward the one. Aquarius is the inheritance: detachment, the group, the safety of the theory and the cool distance of the observer. Leo is the door: the heart in the open, the creative act with one’s name on it, the risk of being seen and found wanting. The tradition treats these months as a season for making and performing, for children and for play, and it places the eclipses on questions of the individual and the collective.
