If you already use another tool to track the Moon's void of course, you'll see Moondark's times sometimes don't match. Discrepancies range from minutes to hours.
This isn't a bug. The tradition itself disagrees with itself. The void of course mechanic is simple, but every word in it hides a choice the calculator has to make: Last aspect to which bodies? Of what kind? Measured against which zodiac?
Moondark's choices, plainly: ten bodies (including Chiron), five aspects (the Ptolemaic majors), tropical zodiac, live ephemeris.
If our void start lands later than another tool's, we're probably catching a Moon-Chiron aspect they aren't watching. If theirs is later, they're probably watching the lunar nodes or an asteroid we aren't. If void ends differ, the other tool is probably using a sidereal zodiac.
There is no single true void of course—only what each tradition chooses to watch. We watch ten bodies, five aspects, tropical, live. We're transparent about that rather than pretend we made no choices at all.
